ABSTRACT:
The upper part of a brace is concave to receive a human calf and extends forwardly at either side of the calf. Elastic straps extend from the upper right and left sides of the brace downwardly to the top outside of a modified conventional shoe to support the shoe from plantarflexion as well as inversion and eversion. The lower end of the brace is removably and pivotally connected to the heel curve of the shoe.
