ABSTRACT:
What is disclosed is a method of reducing the viscosities of aqueous slurries of particulate materials using anionic siliconates of silylorganocarboxylates, sulfonates and phosphonates and the compositions that are obtained thereby. An example is the use of 0.1 weight percent of ##STR1## to lower the viscosity of a 60% solids slurry of TiO.sub.2 from 2320 cps at 25.degree. C. to 80 cps at 25.degree. C.
