ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to the utility of certain anilide ureas as biocidal agents having the formula ##STR1## R is selected from the group of alkyls having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, haloalkyls having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, NR.sub.1 R.sub.2, NHR.sub.1, OR.sub.1 and SR.sub.1 in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently lower alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, X and Y are independently selected from the group consisting of H, Cl, CF.sub.3 and NHCOR.sub.3 and R.sub.3 is selected from the group of lower alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, haloalkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, NR.sub.4 R.sub.5, NHR.sub.4, OR.sub.4 and SR.sub.4 in which R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are independently lower alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
