ABSTRACT:
Crystallizable C.sub.3 polyol monoacylates are separated from a mixture thereof with related polyol polyacylates by solvent fractionation of such mixture. The separated C.sub.3 polyol monoacylates are melted and subjected to a stripping operation under reduced pressure and anhydrous conditions, with at least the final phase of such stripping being performed with inert gas sparging of the melt.
