ABSTRACT:
An anhydride-functional primary alkyl halide having the structure: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.2 are each individually hydrogen or methyl, and the total number of carbon atoms in R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 combined is two or less. The compounds are useful in the synthesis of polymers, etc.
