ABSTRACT:
An anchoring structure comprises an anchor rod which is secured to the inside of an anchor hole in concrete by a cementing material except for an upper section of the rod having a depth of at least 1.5 times the diameter of the anchor hole. The upper end of the anchor rod may be surrounded by an insulating sleeve which fits into the upper section of the anchor hole. The anchor rod may have a continuous groove formed therein, at least one surface of which has a slope of 15.degree.-50.degree.. The depth of the groove is at least as large as the maximum crack width expected to appear around the anchor in the concrete.
