ABSTRACT:
An improved curable composition capable of acid catalyzed crosslinking is composed of an active hydrogen-containing resin, a curing agent and a sulfonate as latent acid catalyst. The catalyst is represented by the following structural formula: ##STR1## wherein: Z is a radical independently selected from C.sub.1 to C.sub.20 alkyl, C.sub.3 to C.sub.20 cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 to C.sub.18 aryl, halogen, alkoxy, hydroxyl, and aryloxy;
