ABSTRACT:
A coating resin composition comprising, as a main component, an amino group-containing, lactone-modified epoxy resin derivative obtained by subjecting a hydroxyl group-containing epoxy resin having epoxy equivalent of 200-400 and a cyclic ester compound represented by the general formula (I) ##STR1## (R is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and n is 3-6) to an addition reaction to obtain an addition product and then reacting the addition product with a polyphenol compound and an amino group-containing compound. The resulting product is then reacted with a partially blocked polyisocyanate.
