ABSTRACT:
Novel amides of acyl-carnitines having general formula ##STR1## wherein R' is acetyl, propionyl, butyryl (unsubstituted or halogen-substituted) isobutyryl, .beta.-hydroxybutyryl, acetoacetyl, pantothenyl, and linoleyl, and R" is either an unsubstituted amino radical (provided that R' is ather than acetyl) or a substituted amino radical, are therapeutically effective in treatment of functional arrythmias or arrhythmias secondary to myocardialsclerotic diseases and as psychosti-mulants.
