ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a filler alloy for brazing, which includes about 4 to 18 wt. % silicon; about 0.001 to 0.4 wt. % magnesium; about 0.01 to 0.3 wt. % lithium; not more than about 2 wt. % zinc; not more than about 1.25 wt. % manganese; not more than about 0.30 wt. % iron; not more than about 0.10 wt. % copper; not more than 0.15 wt. % impurities; balance aluminum.
