ABSTRACT:
An alumina-titanium oxide-zirconia fused grain presenting, for a total of 100%, the following chemical composition:Al2O3: more than 10% and less than 50%;TiO2: more than 10% and less than 40%;ZrO2: more than 50%; andimpurities: less than 2%;the percentages being percentages by weight on the basis of the oxides. The invention is applicable to slide gates for continuous casting of steel.
