An amorphous atactic alternating branched copolymer having a glass transition temperature less than about 0.degree. C., said copolymer having repeating units of --A--B-- wherein A is a polymerized unit derived from a compound containing the group ##STR1## and where B is a polymerized unit derived from a compound containing the group CH.sub.2 =C<.
