ABSTRACT:
.alpha.-Substituted ketonitrone derivatives containing substituents selected from hydrogen, phenyl, substituted phenyl, naphthyl, furan, thiophen, imidazolylmethyl and triazolylmethyl are useful as intermediates for the preparation of biologically active isoxazolidine compounds.
