ABSTRACT:
The present invention concerns new .alpha.-phenoxy-thiolpropionic acids and salts of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen a metal cation or the cation of an amino- or ammonio-group, Z is a substituted phenyl or a substituted pyrid-2-yl radical.
These compounds have herbicidal activity by themselves but can be used as intermediats for the synthesis of more active derivatives.
