ABSTRACT:
Compounds of formulae Ia and Ib ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.6 -C.sub.22 alkyl, phenyl or phenyl which is substituted by one or two C.sub.1 -C.sub.9 alkyl groups, or is C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 cycloalkyl or a group of formula IIa or IIb ##STR2## or R.sup.1 is a group of formula IIIa or IIIb ##STR3## R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each independently of the other C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl, phenyl or phenyl which is substituted by one or two C.sub.1 -C.sub.9 alkyl groups, or are C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 cycloalkyl, and R.sup.4 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.12 alkylene, are suitable for stabilizing chlorinated polymers against light- and/or heat-induced degradation.
