The novel compounds of the formula I ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 denotes (subst.) alkyl, (subst.) alkenyl, (subst.) alkinyl, (subst.) cycloalkyl, phenyl, naphthyl or alkoxycarbonyl, R.sup.2 denotes alkyl, alkoxy or phenyl, R.sup.3 denotes alkyl, R.sup.4 denotes H or alkyl, Ar denotes (subst.) phenyl, (subst.) naphthyl or (subst.) quinolyl and n denotes 1, 2, 3 or 4, have interesting safener properties, i.e. they reduce the phytotoxic side effects of herbicides.
