ABSTRACT:
Preparation of antiarrhythmic (-)-.alpha.-{2-[bis(1-methylethyl)amino]ethyl}-.alpha.-phenyl-2-pyridineac etamide and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof characterized by advantageously diminished and/or favorably altered side-effects such as anticholinergic activity is disclosed.
