ABSTRACT:
A 2-thio-6-chlorouracil having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.3 and R.sub.5 are the same or different and represent an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group. R.sub.1 can also be hydrogen or an alkenyl group. These compounds are useful as inhibitors of the enzyme, alcohol dehydrogenase.
