ABSTRACT:
A catalyst useful in the disproportionation of alkanes is provided comprising an acid component having the formula HB(OSO.sub.2 CF.sub.3).sub.4 and a support. A method for the disproportionation of C.sub.4 -C.sub.16 alkanes employing the catalyst is also provided.
