ABSTRACT:
New alicyclic unsaturated compounds useful as perfume ingredients and perfume compositions containing same. The new compounds have formula ##STR1## possessing a methyl group attached to the carbon atom at position 3 or 4 of the ring and one double bond in one of the positions of the carbonyl side chain as indicated by the dotted line.
Process for their preparation from new hydroxy compounds of formula ##STR2##
