ABSTRACT:
A dual redundant pitot-static sensing system for use in a system for deplng a parachute during ejection of an occupant from a disabled aircraft includes a pair of pressure-sensitive check valves to store peak dynamic airstream pressure for obviating difficulties experienced when the pitots are blocked by airborne debris.
