ABSTRACT:
An air intake arrangement for internal combustion engines. The arrangement includes an intake passage and a filter assembly in which the volume between the filter element and the carburettor choke tube containing filtered air is variable such that upon a change in air pressure occurring in this region due to a particular engine operating condition, there is an immediate change in the volume containing the filtered air which maintains the air pressure therein constant.
