ABSTRACT:
An engine air-fuel ratio control unit is so constructed that, whenever any abnormal operation is detected in one of O.sub.2 sensors, the control unit makes corrections of a fuel amount injected from an injector on the basis of the output information from the other O.sub.2 sensor performing its normal operation and learned values obtained from both of the O.sub.2 sensors when both performed their normal operations.
