ABSTRACT:
A control unit for controlling an injection amount of a fuel injection valve and performing an air-fuel ratio control of an engine has an oxygen sensor for detecting an air-fuel ratio in an exhaust outlet and an electrode plug for measuring a flame resistance value in a combustion chamber. The control unit calculates a reference air-fuel ratio from an average value of the minimum values of the flame resistance measured by the electrode plug, obtains a correction coefficient from the air-fuel ratio detected by the oxygen sensor and the reference air-fuel ratio, and then corrects the air-fuel ratio detected by the oxygen sensor. The control unit performs the air-fuel ratio control of the engine based on the corrected air-fuel ratio.
