ABSTRACT:
The present invention shows an air conditioning system for use on an automobile. The compressor and condenser are located under the hood of the automobile with an evaporator being located inside of a console shaped assembly within the interior of the automobile. Intake louvers are located between the front seats with a blower forcing the air through a duct formed by the console over the transmission tunnel. The return air moves through an evaporator coil located within the console to refrigerate the air. The refrigerated air is then turned approximately 180.degree. and discharged above the console area. Additional louvers for cooling the sides are optional.
