ABSTRACT:
An air conditioner having an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The indoor unit has a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, and a indoor fan. The outdoor unit has an outdoor heat exchanger, a capillary tube, and an outdoor fan. In use, the indoor unit is connected to a commercial AC power supply. A driving circuit is provided in the indoor unit, for applying a voltage via a power-supply line to the outdoor unit to drive the outdoor fan. This voltage is lower than the voltage of the commercial AC power supply. Thus, the power-supply line can be connected to the indoor and outdoor units, with ease and in safety.
