ABSTRACT:
An air cleaner is provided having an inlet and a concentric outlet passage. Means is provided for imparting a whirling motion to the air as the air enters the inlet. Provision is made for varying the size of the inlet so that the velocity of the air may be adjusted for different engine speeds. Turbine vanes are driven by the whirling air and drive blower vanes which assist centrifugal force in directing dust particles toward a particle outlet in the chamber wall.
