ABSTRACT:
An apparatus is disclosed for leveling suspended ceilings while attaching them to supporting structures. The apparatus has an upper body portion having a backplate, a top plate, and a side plate with each of the plates lying in a plane substantially perpendicular to the plane of the other two plates and each of the plates having means for connection to a supporting structure. A flange extends downwardly from one of the plates and includes means for engaging the supporting portion of a suspended ceiling.
