ABSTRACT:
An adjustable metering closure cap which has an outer cap body which is adjustable along the length of a central metering post to provide more than one dispensing position. The inner periphery of the cap body cooperates with the outer periphery of the post along a portion of the length thereof by a push-pull or a screw type action or both to provide the closed and dispensing positions. The outer periphery of the metering post is configured with slots, grooves, ramps, steps or combinations thereof to provide the various metered dispensing openings.
