ABSTRACT:
An adjustable bow sight includes a unique forward sight element mounting and adjusting mechanism by which the sight is moved in a generally vertical linear path in response to rotary movement of a signal adjustment arm. A slotted pivotal attachment between the sight mounting plate and the forward end of the sight adjustment arm translates rotary movement of the latter into purely linear movement of the sight element. The substantially simpified construction and operation of the adjustable sight provides all of the benefits of prior art constructions utilizing complex quadrilateral linkage adjustment mechanisms.
