A method of joining shaped parts by adhesive bonding comprisesA) first coating at least one of the shaped part surfaces that are to be joined by adhesive with a polymer composed of at least 5% by weight of glycidyl (meth)acrylate andB) then adhesively bonding the shaped parts, with crosslinking of the glycidyl groups.
