ABSTRACT:
A composition useful as an adhesion promoting primer activator for cureable acrylic monomer formulations, particularly anaerobic cureable formulations, comprises a solution in a volatile organic solvent of a Cu(II), Co(II), Mn(II), Mn(III), or Cr(III) salt of an acid phosphate acrylic monomer. The acid phosphate monomer may be one of the formula: ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is H or methyl, R.sup.2 is a divalent organic group having 2-40 carbon atoms and A is OH or CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(R.sup.1)C(.dbd.O)OR.sup.2 O--.
