ABSTRACT:
The active vacuum cleaner nozzle of the invention exhibits a two-part housing having an attached suction pipe connecting socket. The two housing parts are pivotably hinge-connected to each other at their end opposite to the suction pipe connecting socket, the dividing joint between the two housing parts extending at least into the area of the suction pipe connecting socket. On the suction pipe connecting socket, a locking sleeve is disposed such that it can be displaced between a position enabling the housing to be opened and a locking position and such that it can be locked in place.
