ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides activator compounds, including agonists, to the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma. Particular PPAR.gamma. activators are set forth, as are a pharmaceutical composition for treating diabetes, non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disorders, and methods for such treatment.
