ABSTRACT:
A communication apparatus that is selectively connected to a central communication apparatus. The communication apparatus transmits CLR signals to the central communication apparatus that indicates a plurality of capabilities list of the communication apparatus, and also requests that the central communication apparatus transmit a capabilities list of the central communication apparatus to the communication apparatus. Upon receipt of a CL signals from the central communication apparatus that indicates a capabilities list of the central communication apparatus, the communication apparatus transmits ACK signals or MS signals to the central communication apparatus that designates a particular communication mode.
