ABSTRACT:
Acrylic ester copolymers are obtained by copolymerizing acrylic esters with .alpha.-haloalkanecarboxylic acid vinyl esters and .alpha., .beta.-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and optionally other unsaturated monomers in aqueous dispersion. The copolymers can be cross-linked with alkalies after polymerization and may be used as pressure-sensitive adhesives of high heat stability.
