ABSTRACT:
An acryl type macromonomer having a polyethyleneimine derivative chain represented by the general formula: ##STR1## where R.sub.1 represents H or CH.sub.3, R.sub.2 represents H or (substituted) alkyl or aryl group, R.sub.3 represents H or (substituted) alkyl group, X represents O or NR.sub.4, R.sub.4 represents H or alkyl or aryl group and n represents an integer from 1 to 1000, or a graft polymer having the polyethyleneimine derivative chain as a graft chain. The macromonomer can be obtained by reacting the compound of the general formula: ##STR2## where R.sub.2 represents H or (substituted) alkyl or aryl group, R.sub.3 represents H or (substituted) alkyl group, Y represents OH or NHR.sub.4, R.sub.4 represents H or alkyl or aryl group and n represents an integer of 1 to 1000, or the 2-oxazoline compound of the general formula (3): ##STR3##
