ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to tissue specific acoustically reflective oligolamellar liposomes containing internally separated bilayers and methods to make and to use the same, alone as a perfusion ultrasonic contrast agent or conjugated to a ligand for tissue-specific ultrasonic image enhancement.
