An acoustic liner20includes a remote panel26, a proximate panel28transversely spaced from the remote panel and a resonator chamber34bresiding between the panels. Perforations38penetrate the proximate panel in registration with the resonator chamber34b. A neck56with an inlet58recessed from the proximate panel establishes communication between the chamber and a fluid stream G flowing past the proximate panel. A bypass coolant passage66guides coolant through the perforations without guiding it through the resonator chamber.
