ABSTRACT:
An acoustic lens for use in an ultrasonographic probe is made of a material including silicone rubber mixed with particles of titanium oxide having diameters ranging from 0.08 to 0.20 .mu.m. The particles are mixed at a ratio in the range of 30 to 65 wt %.
