ABSTRACT:
This invention pertains to therapeutic acne treating-wound healing compositions useful for the topical treatment of aene vulgaris. The compositions comprise a therapeutically effective amount of tretinoin and a wound healing composition. In one embodiment the wound healing composition comprises (a) pyruvate; (b) an antioxidant; and (c) a mixtrite of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. The therapeutic acne treating-wound healing compositions may be utilized in a wide variety of pharmaceutical products. This invention also relates to methods for preparing and using the therapeutic acne treating-wound healing compositions and the pharmaceutical products in which the therapeutic compositions may be used. This invention also relates to methods for employing the therapeutic ache treating-wound healing compositions to treat wrinkles.
