Acidic monoazo dyestuffs of formula I ##STR1## and their salts wherein the symbols R.sub.1 to R.sub.6, which possess the significances given in claim 1. These dyestuffs are suitable for dyeing or printing textile material consisting of natural or synthetic polyamides.
