ABSTRACT:
Acetals are prepared by reacting monohydric primary or secondary alcohols with acrolein-isocyanuric acid adducts. The acetals are useful polymerizing and cross-linking agents for polyfunctional compounds containing acetal-reactive groups such as alcohols, thiols, oxiranes and amides.
