There is provided an accommodation apparatus for a transmission medium, such as an optical fiber cable which includes a housing for accommodating the transmission medium and an arrangement part located in the housing, said arrangement part arranging an orientation of the transmission medium accommodated in the housing so as to prevent the transmission capability of the transmission medium from getting damaged.
