ABSTRACT:
Accelerators for epoxide curing agents containing cyanamide are described which use an adduct and/or reaction product of (a) a specific imidazole derivative with (b) an organic acid having a pK.sub.A value of 0.5 to 5.0.
The accelerators according to the invention impart to the epoxy resin-curing agent-accelerator system a longer shelf life compared with known accelerators.
