ABSTRACT:
An accelerator device includes an accelerator arm12provided with an accelerator pedal11, a support case13internally holding and supporting an arm base part12athrough a support shaft14, a return spring16and17for urging the arm12to rotate in a returning direction to return the pedal11to an initial position, and an accelerator sensor15for detecting a rotation amount of the arm12as an accelerator opening degree. A hysteresis producing mechanism includes friction pieces20and21attached to the arm base part12a. A curved contact surface20aof the friction piece20is held in contact with a contacted surface19aof a friction part19of the support case13. One end of the return spring16and17is hooked in one end of the friction piece20and21, and the other end of the spring16and17is connected to the arm base part12ain order to press the contact surface20aand21aof the friction piece20and21against the contacted surface19aof the friction part19.
