ABSTRACT:
A pad for grinding lens blanks comprising a pliable sheet of a water-proof material (e.g., paper or fabric) with an adhesive coating on one side thereof for adhering onto a working surface. An abrasive substance (e.g., silicon carbide) is applied to the pad and a plurality of radially extending channels are cut through its area to provide a smooth fit over a working surface.
