ABSTRACT:
Abies fraseri‘Frosty’ is distinguishable from other varieties ofAbies fraseriprimarily by its distinctive blue white needle color. ‘Frosty’ also exhibits a slightly shorter needle length and the needles are more crowded on the branch giving the new variety a more dense appearance than a typical Fraser fir tree. In addition, ‘Frosty’ produces more lateral limbs on the tree terminal resulting in thicker branches as compared to a typical Fraser fir.
