ABSTRACT:
7-Oxabicycloheptyl substituted heterocyclic amide prostaglandin analogs are provided which are thromboxane A.sub.2 (TXA.sub.2) receptor antagonists and have the structural formula ##STR1## wherein m is 1, 2 or 3, n is 1, 2, 3 or 4 and p is 2 to 18. These compounds are also useful in identifying thromboxane receptors in various tissue.
