ABSTRACT:
Novel 7-hydroxyguanine compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen atom, tetrahydropyranyl group or tetrahydrofuryl group, and R.sub.2 is hydrogen atom, tetrahydropyranyl group or tetrahydrofuryl group, provided that when R.sub.1 is hydrogen atom, R.sub.2 is tetrahydropyranyl group or tetrahydrofuryl group, and a salt thereof, which have excellent anti-tumor activity, process for preparing the compounds, and anti-tumor agent containing said compound as an active ingredient.
